Rehab Monday is a 3 piece power trio from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  The band features (from left to right) bass player Dave Suri, lead vocalist Shawn Jenks, drummer Kirk Klamerus aka Captain Kirk, and guitarist Steve Chapin,  They play local venues and focus on alternative, classic, and hard rock.  See them at their Facebook page.  Rehab Monday

Leslie Cochran for Mayor and John Paul Dejoria

Leslie Cochran and John Paul Dejoria (of Paul Mitchell fame).  Leslie was a peace activist, transvestite, mayoral candidate for Austin, Tx, an urban outdoorsman and activist for the homeless.  He died on March 8th, 2012 from complications due to a head injury suffered in 2009.  Part of the Austinite's Celebrity Series.

A great crowd, last Saturday from the Cedar Rapids Chili Cookoff.  I would have more photos, but I got so busy I didn't take pictures until the last few patrons sat in front of me.

Motorcycle Man

Royal Enfield is a popular motorcycle brand in India.  This caricature is for a friend of my good friend in India, Clifford.  Royal Enfield started in England and began producing motorcycles for the India market in 1956.  Their motto is "Made like a gun, goes like a bullet" reflects their weapons legacy.  They even use a canon within their logo. Zoom Zoom!

On this one, I tried something new.  The client provided me pictures of her Lawyer boss and some pictures of his Triathlon adventures.  She asked me to work them into the picture somehow.  So I provided four vignettes capturing his job and athletic abilities.
