Fun in Iowa City

I had great fun in Iowa City last week, trying out my new lighting.  It created sort of a blue light, which cast shadows while I was working, so not a perfect solution, but a warmer light bulb may help.  I also started with a new Pelican case to carry my stuff in.  It keeps everything safe and dry, but it is a big box to lug around.

Here is a recent Christmas order.  The first sketch in the upper left side was done first and the client wanted a a venician archway instead of the Roman coliseum.  After making corrections, I sent another pencil sketch and then finalized the piece.
